Cookie Policy

The cookies and similar technologies used by the ClickMaker Connect website and application, the choices you have, and how to change them.

Legal review required

This is a plain-language draft for a global customer base, not legal advice. It should be reviewed by qualified counsel in the markets where ClickMaker Connect is sold before it is relied on in a dispute.

Summary

  • Essential cookies are required for authentication, security and core interface preferences.
  • Analytics and marketing cookies are optional and are enabled only with your consent where required.
  • You can accept all, choose essential only, or customize optional cookies from the consent manager.
  • You can change your choice at any time from the footer or the cookie preferences control on this page.

Your current choices

Review or change which optional cookies ClickMaker Connect may use.

1. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage for interface preferences, security and consent records. Some are deleted when you close your browser; others persist for a defined period.

This policy covers the ClickMaker Connect marketing website and dashboard. It does not replace the privacy notices of Meta or other third parties that process data under their own terms.

2. Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies and storage entries are required to provide the service. They cannot be switched off through our consent manager because the platform cannot operate securely without them.

  • accessToken: a short-lived session credential used to authenticate dashboard requests.
  • refreshToken: an HttpOnly refresh credential used to rotate sessions safely.
  • csrftoken: protects cookie-authenticated state-changing requests against cross-site request forgery.
  • Theme preference: stores your light or dark interface choice.
  • Consent preference: records your cookie choices in local storage under clickmaker-cookie-consent so we do not ask on every page.
  • Load balancer, hosting and security entries required to route requests, apply rate limits and protect the service.

3. Analytics cookies

Analytics help us understand page performance, aggregate feature usage and reliability. Where local law requires consent, analytics technologies are enabled only after you allow them.

We do not use analytics to inspect the content of customer conversations, and we do not sell analytics data. The public website does not currently run third-party advertising pixels.

4. Marketing cookies

Marketing cookies may be used to measure campaigns, understand which pages lead to sign-up and present relevant product information. They are optional and are disabled unless you allow them.

If we introduce a new marketing or advertising technology, we will disclose it in this policy and request consent where required before it is set.

6. Managing cookies in your browser

Most browsers let you view, delete and block cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies prevents sign-in and dashboard use. Browser controls are separate from the ClickMaker consent manager, so clearing cookies may reset your saved choice.

Some browsers offer private browsing, tracking protection or global privacy signals. These features vary by browser and region. The ClickMaker consent manager records your choice for this site; browser-level controls remain separate.

7. Retention, changes and contact

Session cookies expire when your session ends. Persistent cookies and local storage entries remain for the period needed for the purpose described above, or until you clear them. Consent records are kept so we can demonstrate the choice you made.

We may update this policy when our use of cookies changes. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date and, where required, communicated through the platform. Questions can be sent to the privacy contact listed on this page.
