Acceptable Use Policy

Rules that protect recipients, Meta compliance and platform integrity for every organization using ClickMaker Connect.

Legal review required

This is a plain-language draft for a global customer base, not legal advice. It should be reviewed by qualified counsel in the markets where ClickMaker Connect is sold before it is relied on in a dispute.

Summary

  • This policy applies to every user, application and organization connected to ClickMaker Connect, in every country.
  • It supplements Meta's WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and applicable local law.
  • Violations can result in suspension of a connection or the organization.

2. Prohibited content and conduct

  • Illegal goods, services, drugs, weapons or wildlife trafficking.
  • Fraud, phishing, impersonation, deceptive investment or loan schemes.
  • Malware, credential theft, unauthorized access or exploitation.
  • Harassment, threats, hate speech, discrimination or violent incitement.
  • Sexual exploitation, child abuse material or content harmful to minors.
  • Unauthorized healthcare, gambling or financial services claims where prohibited.
  • Spam, number rotation to evade limits, or bulk messaging without consent.
  • Bypassing template review, misrepresenting message category or evading Meta enforcement.

3. Platform integrity

  • Do not probe, scan or test the platform's security without written authorization.
  • Do not reverse engineer, scrape or overload the API beyond documented limits.
  • Do not share API keys, session cookies or Meta credentials between organizations.
  • Do not attempt to access another tenant's data or bypass authorization checks.
  • Do not use the platform for restricted authentication flows without approval.

4. Regulated and high-risk use

Financial, healthcare, legal, employment, housing and political messaging can be subject to additional laws and Meta policies in each market. You must obtain any required licences, disclaimers and approvals. We may require additional information before enabling a use case and may decline business in a jurisdiction where we cannot support it.

5. Enforcement and reporting

We may investigate suspected violations, request information, throttle traffic, suspend a connection or terminate an organization. We may act immediately where there is risk to recipients, the platform or Meta's systems, and may report unlawful conduct to authorities where required. We are not obliged to monitor all content, but we may review content when investigating a report or security incident.

Report abuse, phishing or policy violations through the support contact on this site. Include message identifiers, sender numbers and a description. Good-faith reports will be reviewed and handled confidentially where possible.
